The elements consist of two primary elements (10,12) orientated according the Z-axis, one with a mortice (322) and the other with two parallel tenons (28). The walls of the mortice and tenon are each pierced by joining holes (24,30) that are in line. The parallel tenons define between them a central passage through which the half-tenons (32,34) of the secondary pieces (14,16) which are oriented according to the Y-axis. Each half-tenon has semi-holes (36,38) which when superimposed on the other form a central hole which aligns with the other holes to receive a connecting dowel (40) which follows the X-axis. This dowel is clamped with a tapered wedge (48). USE/ADVANTAGE - For assembling a wide range of three-dimensional assemblies such as show cases or shelving using a minimum number of parts.
