The burner has a gas distribution tube (1) with gas outlet nozzle (5) coupled to burner gas source, and burner tubes (5) forming an intermediate air gap, with the burner tubes mounted in the furnace of the boiler. Their jacket has apertures forming the flames. Between the gas distribution tube and the burner tubes is fitted a second gas distribution tube (12) with gas outlet nozzles (13). The second distribution tube is coupled to the flue gas region behind the boiler (14) heat exchanger (17) and/or to the furnace. The gas outlet nozzles (3) of the first distribution tube open directly into a second distribution tube. USE/ADVANTAGE - Reduced NOx values in flue gas, and increased service life of burner tubes in gas heating boiler.
