It is over the laying table towards the trailing end of the folder, to give a free space between the laying table and the mounting. The plate forming the laying table is pref. in two half sections on the strip, with a gap between them, covered by a further one-piece plate. USE/ADVANTAGE - The folder at the sewing machine is for folding the fabric workpiece material to make pockets for garments. The structure allows the fabrics to be laid in place easily, and is compact and can be produced cost-effectively, to be fitted as an attachment to existing sewing machine systems.
