A fused electrical load switching unit has a three pole base with contacts (3-8). In the assembled condition the contacts are mounted within the side walls (9-12) of projections with separating regions. The top section fits onto the base with sections (13-15) fitting into the separating regions. Guide ribs (17) locate in channels in the base sections to accurately align the units. The top unit can be formed with a handgrip (19) for ease of handling and fuse elements of a blade contact type can be inserted. USE/ADVANTAGE - LV fuse with high current rating. Simple construction, easy to use.
