Information transmission procedure used between two automating systems - providing redundant partial systems verifying information at each end of transmission path for secure information transfer

Each transmission system (1, 4) comprises two redundant partial systems (2, 2', 5, 5'), one of which provides the transmitted information and the other a test sum or signature. Both partial systems of the target automating system verify the transmitted information which is only accepted when it complies with both target verifications and the source identification verification. Pref. the automating systems incorporate counters for the information transmitted, the contents of the counter in the source automating system being transferred to the target automating system for checking reception of all information.
