The invention relates to a wood burning oven which makes it possible to cook foodstuffs in the presence of the flame and continuously. It ensures a high throughput rate whi le remaining traditional. It is constituted by a roof made of refractory materials of annular shape concave in its centre (2) and (3), by a rotating floor (7) equipped in its centre with a hearth (1) and moved in rotation at a speed of 0 to 1 rotation per minute by an electric motor with a reducing variator. As an alternative, it can be equipped with a series of small rotary plates intended to receive the products to be cooked in order to guarantee them regular cooking.
