An antenna (1) is fed by a generator (2) generating the energy to be radiated, the said antenna comprising an earth plane (11), possibly shaped, and a radiating element (12) parallel to the said earth plane (11). The radiating element (12) is linked, on the one hand, to the said generator (2) by way of a first conducting wire (3) and, on the other hand, to the said earth plane by means of a second conducting wire (4). The second conducting wire (4) is arranged so as to carry a current at the working frequency, and to be coupled by inductive coupling to the said first conducting wire (3) at the working frequency.
