The invention relates to a device which makes it possible to prevent an accidental pricking injury during the handling of syringes using the system of carpules and double-pointed needles. It consists of a means for holding the needle in the rubber (C), produced using a system for screwing the distal part of this needle (1) into the corresponding part of the rubber (2). According to a variant, the holding is obtained by driving the needle which comprises claws of the "harpoon" type into the rubber. When this attachment has taken place, the rubber (C) being itself solidly attached to the plunger (P) using the corkscrew (TB), when the user actuates the plunger, the needle will again be inside the carpule.
