Road junction between a main road and a secondary road, mainly outside built-up areas, including the separation of the main road into two carriageways P1 and P2 which the secondary road, including carriageways S1 and S2 joins at different locations, between which are organised the interchange lanes T and T' allowing crossing of the junction by the secondary road as well as interchange from one main carriageway onto the other or from the secondary road onto each of the carriageways P1 and P2, each of the connection lanes being laid out so as to ensure progressive slowing as well as progressive braking of the vehicle entering each of these connections, speed not being reduced on the main lanes P1 and P2.
