The method consists, for reproducing the value of each current symbol received by a receiver, in analysing, over the whole duration of dispersion of a current symbol, the set of contributions of the following symbols by subtracting (10) the already decided contributions of the preceding symbols, and in deciding (20, 30, 40, 50) on the value of the current dispersed symbol from the combination of the following symbols exhibiting the closest distance from the sample values of the received signal.
