P A method for the preventive control of immunity in humans for detecting a possible deficiency of the immune system, which comprises the steps of: BR/ (a) establishing the curve of the change in the ratio of lymphocyte number T4 / number of T8 lymphocytes as a function of age on blood samples taken from healthy human subjects, BR/ (b) determine, under the same conditions as (a), the ratio of T4 lymphocytes / number of T8 cells on a blood sample taken from a human subject under examination, and BR/ (c) compare the ratio of T4 lymphocyte number / T8 lymphocyte number obtained in step (b) to the curve obtained in step (a), a ratio of number of T4 lymphocytes / number of T8 lymphocytes not in agreement with this curve being indicative of a deficiency of the immune system of the subject under examination. / P
