The ink-jet printer consists of two printing stations (25, 27). The first station (25) prints a control frame on the same medium on which the second station (27) prints the designs. A third station (26) mounted between the two printing stations is fitted with a functionally independent optical system. This system reads and analyses the control frame and transmits the information to the calculating unit (12). ADVANTAGE - Provides for high print quality suitable for industrial printing of logos and text with a raised level of production.
