PURPOSE:To take the photograph of an outer diameter part in X-ray photographing of a molded connecting piece for CV cable, by attaching a split type molding which is molded beforehand to the outer diameter part of the joint, which undergoes X-ray photographing. CONSTITUTION:At the stage when molding of the outer semiconducting layer or the insulating layer of a mold joint 2 for CV cable is finished, X-ray photographing is performed as nondestructive inspection. At this time, a split type molding 3 is formed in the complete molded form of the outer semiconducting layer or the insulating layer of the joint 2 beforehand. The molding 3 is attached to the outer diameter part of the joint 2, and X-ray photographing is performed. The molding 3 consists of paraffin, silicone rubber and liquid rubber. In this way, the outer diameter part is clearly photographed in the X-ray photographing of the joint 2.
