PURPOSE:To manufacture printed decorative material with high-class impression by a method wherein Japanese paper and non-woven rayon fabric, the basis weight of which is specified, are laminated to base decorative material in the order named and printing pattern is applied on the non-woven rayon fabric face side. CONSTITUTION:Japanese paper 2 together with non-woven fabric 3 gives Japanese paper-like feeling to the decorative material concerned and serves as the support of the non-woven fabric 3 at printing. As the non-woven fabric 3, coarse non-woven fabric having the basis weight of 10-50g/m2 is used, since the fabric has partial, random and fine skips. Further, in order to form clear printing pattern, non-woven fabric, which is blended with non-woven rayon fabric arranged at random, is used. The Japanese paper 2 and the non-woven fabric 3 are laminated through adhesive layer 2a to each other. The printing pattern 4 is applied after the lamination of the Japanese paper 2 and the non-woven fabric 3. The preferable printing pattern 4 is texture pattern. In combination of the cubic effect by the non-woven fabric 3, the dim tone of the printing pattern 4 and the feeling of the Japanese paper 2, decorative material full of attractive features is obtained. After the formation of the printing patter 4, the Japanese paper 2 face is laminated onto base decorative material 1. The surface of the decorative material is coated with transparent paint 5 excellent in wear resistance.
