摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition suppressed in hydrolysis and prevented in deterioration by shaking and capable of retaining stability thereof under severe conditions during transportation by blending gelatin at a specific amount and controlling pH in a specific range. CONSTITUTION:The water solution composition consisting essentially of carba type calcitonins being polypeptides obtained by changing S-S bond at 1,7-position of natural type calcitonins to C-C bond, having at least serum calcium lowering action, containing 0.01-20% W/V, preferably 0.1-5% W/V gelatin, preferably hydrolyzed and purified gelatin having 5000-500000 molecular weight and controlled pH at 5-7 by a pH buffer agent (e.g. sodium citrate or sodium acetate). The content of the carba type calcitonins is preferably 0.1-100mug/ml as a concentration in aqueous solution composition.
