PURPOSE:To improve the heat resistance of a sintered ferrite core containing nickel by causing it to contain a specific amount of WO3, MoO3. CONSTITUTION:At least one selected from WO3 and MoO3 is caused to be contained 0.025-1.0wt.% in a sintered ferrite core containing Ni such as a ferrite of the Ni-Zn system, Ni-Cu-Zn system or Ni-Cu-Zn-Mg system. WO3, if alone, is contained 0.05-0.9wt.%, and MoO3, if alone, is contained 0.025-1.0wt.%. When the amount of the additive approaches the lower limit value, the grains suddenly becomes small and uniform, and within the above range uniform and small grains are developed. With this, the heat and shock resistances are remarkably improved.
