摘要

PURPOSE:To readily produce carbide amorphous carbon, by uniformly heating a titanium alloy in an atmosphere of mixed gas of inert gas and hydrocarbon gas. CONSTITUTION:A titanium alloy substrate is fed to a vacuum furnace and heated to 1,000 deg.C. Then a mixed gas of 90-98% inert gas (e.g. Ar) and 10-2% hydrocarbon gas (e.g. methane gas) is sent to the vacuum furnace and heated at =1,000 deg.C for fixed time to form carbide amorphous carbon on the top of the substrate and the carbide amorphous carbon film is released by difference in thermal expansion between the carbide amorphous carbon and the substrate.
