PURPOSE:To heighten efficiency of test data edition by actuating find function for optional test data when necessary and indicating changing point of found pattern graphically on a display picture. CONSTITUTION:When an optional pin Pn out of already defined pins is designated to a storing means 3, a find means 4 sets an optional time with respect to test data TDn corresponding to the pin Pn in response to a command signal FD from a data inputting means 1. At a time after the set time, a point where the pattern of data TDn changes, i.e., a pattern change point PT, is found. The part of found change point PT is indicated on the picture of a display unit 2 by a display controlling means 5. Thus, the degree of recognition of data is heightened, mistake in operation of an operator is minimized, and mutual checking between test data is made easy.
