EXAMPLE:3-Ethoxycarbonyl-9-( 4-methylphenylcarbamoylthio )-4-oxo-4H-pyrido[1, 2-a]pyrimidine. USE:An antiulcer agent. PREPARATION:A 4-mercapto-4-oxo-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidine compound of formula III is made to react with an isocyanate of formula OCH-R4 preferably at room temperature for 1-10hr.
