PURPOSE:To obtain two read data in one machine cycle without delaying the machine cycle by simultaneously reading out two data stored in continuous addresses to two read registers. CONSTITUTION:When the instruction to transfer read data in an address C and that in an address C+1 twice is issued from a second data request source, the address of a data array is set to C to store data in addresses C and C+1 in read registers 6 and 7. Read data in the register 6 is sent to the second data request source through selecting circuits 9 and 10, and simultaneously, read data in the register 7 is sent to a transfer register 8. Thereafter, read data sent to the transfer register 8 is sent to the second data request source through the selecting circuit 10.
