METHOD FOR CHARGING COAL INTO VERTICAL COKE OVEN

PURPOSE: To reduce the amt. of fine coal powder scattered during charging an improved coal into a vertical coke oven. ;CONSTITUTION: An improved coal is charged into a vertical coke oven from which coke formed by carbonization is discharged by gravity through the oven bottom. The coal is pneumaticalally conveyed from a pneumatic conveying tank 13 through a pneumatic conveying pipe 12 (a flexible hose) and charged through a coke discharge port 4 installed at the bottom of a coke oven chamber 1 into the chamber 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
