PURPOSE:To facilitate a sheet film loading operation in a bright room by loading a tray base into a device, shielding the light in the device while the end of a cover member is held exposed to the outside, and pulling the end of the cover member to open an aperture for taking out films in a lighttight state into the device. CONSTITUTION:While the aperture 40 for taking out films of the tray base 32 is held closed by the cover member 40, a package 30 is directly loaded into a device body part 54 and a package loading port 64 is closed by a cap body 58. The end of the cover member 34 exposed to the outside is then pulled to open the aperture 40 for taking out films into the chamber of the device body part 54. More specifically, the need for a magazine for exclusive use used hereto fore is eliminated and the loading operation of the film F is facilitated as the package 30 has the same effect as the effect of a magazine. The aperture 40 for taking out films can be opened while the device is held adequately shielded of light by a roller 66 and the capbody 58; therefore, the film is easily loadable to the device in the bright room.
