PURPOSE:To enable diverse CAI learning corresponding to the ability and learning progress of individual learners and to improve the learning effect by constituting a personal computer, a telephone set, and a television set in one body. CONSTITUTION:In television mode, a learner has a lecture and an explanation through a television screen 2 with a voice. In the middle or at the end of those lecture and explanation, a program and data for the personal computer are sent a sound radio wave of television when necessary and then the device is switched to a personal computer learning mode. In the personal computer learn ing mode, the television screen 2 is switched to a personal computer learning screen 3 and the learner learns by using the personal computer united with the television set. When the learner makes a question in the middle or at the end of this personal computer learning, the learner operates an input device 5 such as a keyboard to switch the device to a telephone mode by personal computer input and sends the question and receives its answer with a guidance institution by a personal computer interactive basis on the screen 3. Consequent ly, the diverse learning is enabled and the learning effect is improved by multipli cation.
