PURPOSE: To provide an axial flow compressor cascade structure which increases the flow rate and efficiency of a compressor. ;CONSTITUTION: In an axial flow compressor cascade structure which comprises a plurality of vanes 3 aligned at predetermined intervals between an inside passage wall 2 and an outside passage wall 1 and along the circumferential direction of the walls 2, 1 which are arranged into a ring shape, a recessed portion 11 for increasing the cross section of a passage is formed in a throat portion 9 of the inside passage wall 2 where the cross section of the passage between the vanes is at its minimum, and a smooth projecting portion 12 for slowing deceleration of a fluid flowing at the root portion 7 of the back 6 of the vanes is formed in a position downstream of the recessed portion 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
