PURPOSE:To obtain a color staining-free rubber composition resistant to scorch, capable of giving cured rubber of excellent physical properties, suitable for colored rubber hose covering layer, by incorporating a rubber with sulfur-donor as curing agent in combination with pigment. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of a sulfur-curable rubber (e.g. natural rubber, NBR, SBR, incorporation of PVC or EPDM being advantageous) with (B) 0.1-10pts.wt. of a sulfur donor as curing agent (e.g. tetramethyl thiuram disulfode) and (C) 0.05-50pts.wt. of a pigment.
