PURPOSE: To lessen the amount of production of waste and also to enable reduction of the amount of consumption of a neutralizer by a method wherein concentrated liquid waste remaining in an evaporator after an operation of evaporation is separated into a nitric acid and sodium hydroxide by ion exchange equipment. ;CONSTITUTION: Low-level radioactive liquid waste is sent into a storage tank 1 through a pipeline 2, while sodium hydroxide being a neutralizer is supplied thereto through a pipeline 3, and the liquid waste is subjected to pH regulation.
