SIMPLIFICATION OF ANALYSIS METHOD DYNAMIC RESPIRATION INDICATOR

PURPOSE:To simplify a dynamic respiration indicator analysis method having the capability of calculating an area enclosed with a flow rate and volume curve and a mechanical time constant highly accurately. CONSTITUTION:Sampling is performed at every predetermined air volume span (d) along a flowrate and volume curve, and a plurality of sample points Qi are determined. Thereafter, the area of each divided area between the sample points Q1 is calculated. Then, the area of all divided areas R1 is added, thereby enabling the area enclosed with the curve to be calculated highly accurately. Also, a mechanical time constant at a position Ri between each of sample points Q1 and (Qi+1) is calculated and drawn.
