PURPOSE: To offer a heartbeat count response type heart stimulator to optimize effectively an cardiac output, based on the amount of heart blood. ;CONSTITUTION: The controller 9 has a comparator 22 to compare the measured signals with a given threshold value (Tn) during the heart's blood filled phase (heart expansion period). If any measured signal is found to exceed the threshold value (Tn), it generates the control signals a-e 28. The threshold value corresponds to a given amount of filling the ventricles with blood.
