PURPOSE: To provide a leakage preventive structure of contaminated water at a waste disposal facility capable of easily and surely preventing leakage of the contaminated water from a damaged place to the outside of the treating place, even in the case where a water shielding sheet is partially damaged by a projecting object, etc. ;CONSTITUTION: An adsorbing layer 18 with prescribed thickness is interposed and laid between the bottom ground E at the waste disposal site and the water shielding sheet 12. The leakage preventive structure 30 is constituted of both the water shielding sheet 12 and the adsorbing layer 18. The adsorbing layer 18 is composed of an admixture of reinforcing fiber and cohesive soil and also the adsorbing material 18a consisting of contaminant absorbing materials of bentonite, zeolite, charcoal, activated coal, etc., is laid as the adsorbing layer 18.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
