REWINDER AND ROLL-WIDING METHOD OF WEB MATERIAL ON ROLL CORE

PURPOSE: To make the segments of paper or the number of sheets correct, and start winding regularly by tearing up a web when it enters a nip between a winding core and a winding cylinder, locking the leading edge of the web on a core with an adhesive, and wedging the leading edge between the core and another winding cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A web N1 is moved between two winding cylinders 11, 13 across a nip I. The direction of motion of the web N1 when it enters the nip I, is reversed to the direction of motion of the cylinder 11, the surface of which is to be in contact with the web, when a winding core A1 is inserted into the nip I. Thus, after the web is entered into the nip, the web N1 is torn up, the leading edge of the web is attached to the core A1 by an adhesive applied by a coating means P, and is bent by wedging it between the core A1 and another winding cylinder 13.
