PURPOSE:To enable the preparation of a specimen having ideal conditions, by arranging processes wherein a block with a sample wrapped and buried is bonded on a slide plate to form a slide block, which is sliced and the sections thereof are ground to be dyed, photographed and analyzed. CONSTITUTION:A small piece 21 of a sample is dewatered and wrapped and buried securely in a resin 22 to form a block 3. Then, an observing part of the block is ground with a waterproof abrasive paper to obtain a bonding surface 31 and the block 3 is dried with an oven range to bond the surface 31 on a slide plate 4 of standard dimensions. The bonding at this point employs a desired bubble-less bonding method using a bonding material 6, a depression incubator 7 and a weight weighing about 600g as load means. A slide block 5 obtained is cut sequentially using a diamond cutter with a suction holder to make a pair of sliced slide blocks 5' and the block 3. A plurality of blocks 5' are produced by the same process from the block 3. The blocks 5' are turned to specimens 1-1'' via a rough grinding, finish grinding and a cleaning. Thereafter, a dyeing, soft X-ray photography and EPMA analysis are performed.
