SHAPING AND TRIAL ARRANGEMENT AND REPAIRING GUIDE FOR TRANSPLANTATION OF ARTIFICIAL ORTHOSIS FOR THICH BONE AND ITS METHOD OF APPLICATION

PURPOSE: To allow precise surgical trial epithesis by equipping a trial implant piece with a modular bracket having a center opening to expose the distal plane of the abscission of the femur detachably on the distal plane of the abscission of the femur and by installing a replaceable insert to protect the center opening. CONSTITUTION: The trial implant piece 10 has a nearly reversed U-shape modular bracket 12 at a sideway look, which defines the structure having the inner face suitable for positioning at the distal plane 14 of the abscission of the femur 16. The bracket 12 has the outer plane resembling the distal condylus of the femur 16 and a slender central opening 18 exposing the abscised distal plane 14 of the femur 16. Further, a parallel rail 20 is installed to guide an instrument in order to plane the furrow 26 of the patella in the bone to be exposed by way of the opening 18 and a replaceable insert 28 to cover the opening 18 is installed. The insert 28 is formed by central recessed planar elbow tectal bone track 50 and a pair of the confronting lateral flanges 52 on both sides.
