METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR PRODUCTION OF DOUBLE-COATED TEEL SHEET HAVING BEAUTIFUL SURFACE APPEARANCE

PURPOSE: To improve surface appearance by executing a first time of coating with a 3-roll coater, executing the coating with a roller curtain coater in the second and subsequent times and coating the remaining surface with the 3-roll coater in the second and subsequent times. ;CONSTITUTION: The 3-roll coater 3 for the first coating of the front surface, the 2-roll coater 4 for the first coating of the rear surface, the roller curtain coater 6 for the second coating of the front surface and the 3-roll coater 7 for the second coating of the rear surface are arranged in series in succession to a pretreatment device 2 from the upstream side in the traveling direction of a steel sheet 1. After the steel sheet 1 is pretreated with the pretreatment 2, the surface is subjected to the first coating by the 3-roll coater 3 and thereafter, the rear surface is coated with the 2-roll coater 4 and the coatings are baked by a first baking device 5. The surface is then coated by the roller curtain coater 6 and the rear surface by the 3-roll coater 7, respectively, and thereafter, the coatings are baked by a second baking device 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
