PURPOSE:To obtain the title heat-shrinkable tube which does not undergo discoloration, etc., by mixing a polyethylenics with a specified polymeric compound, a hindered phenolic antioxidant and a thio antioxidant, molding the mixture and crosslinking the molding by irradiation with electron beams. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polyethylene resin (A) is mixed with 0.5-2pts.wt. poly{[6-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)imino-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diyl] [(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl- 4-piperidyl)iminohexamethylene[(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl)imino]}, 0.5- 5pts.wt. hindered phenolic antioxidant (C) and 0.5-2pts.wt. thio antioxidant (D). The obtained polymer composition is molded into a tube, and this tube is crosslinked by irradiation with electron beams to obtain the purpose heat- resistant, transparent, heat-shrinkable tube useful for protection and insulation or the like.
