PURPOSE:To provide the subject machine enabling to perform marking work by one person by interposing a fabric to be ruffled between upper and lower paper patterns, accurately spread the paper patterns on a winding paper on a table, pressing the spread paper patterns with a pressing tool and simultaneously winding the fabric-interposed paper patterns with a winding motor. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum tube 3 having paper 2 wound thereon is automatically set on chucking cones 1a and 1b driven with a winding motor 7 and the winding paper is spread on a table 12. Upper and lower paper patterns 4a and 4b are placed on the spread winding paper and one end of the paper patterns is pressed with a paper pattern-pressing tool 5. The lower paper pattern 4b is spread and another end of the lower paper pattern is fixed. A fabric 14 to be ruffled is accurately spread and the upper paper pattern 4a is placed on the fabric. Both the pressing tools are separated and simultaneously the upper and lower paper patterns having the fabric therebetween are wound on the aluminum tube with a winding motor while being pressed with the pressing tool 9. The process is repeated until finishing the ruffling process and subsequently the wound product is transferred to the next process. The employment of the personal ruffling machine permits the ruffling process giving stable qualities and having excellent productivity by one person different from conventional processes.
