Foundation pile and erection and concatenated structure

PURPOSE:To meet the design of pile without application of horizontal force and bending moment to the top of pile by a method in which an airtight bag packed with compressed air is interposed between the top of a base pile and a superstructure. CONSTITUTION:Pressure support plates 4 and 4' are fixed through anchor bolts 3 and 3' between the upside of the footing or base slab 2 of a superstructure and the downside of a base pile 1. An airtight bag 7 of rubber or synthetic resin, packed with compressed air, is set between the plates 4 and 4'. Also, a ringed laminate material formed by alternately laminating and bonding metal pieces 8 and rubber or resin pieces 9 is placed on the periphery of the bag 7 between the plates 4 and 4'. Springs 11 are thrust through the holes 10 of the laminate material and its upper and lower both ends are fixed to the plates 4 and 4'.
