The slab is heated by induction up to a target temperature. After the heating of the slab, the lift furnace bed 3 is lowered once to discharge the slab 5 outside and then, is loaded into furnace body 2 again. An induction heating coil 4 is energized or controlled to cool the furnace bed metal ware 6 gradually so that the temperature falling rate is held under a critical temperature falling rate to prevent the generation of heat impact. In the heating of the slab 5 continuously. the fireproof furnace bed metal ware 6 is kept at a specified heat preserving temperature.
