SIMPLIFIED TEACHING METHOD FOR FLAW MENDING AREA OF STEEL PLATE AND ITS DEVICE

PURPOSE: To teach a position of a flaw on a steel plate surface unmanually in a flaw mending device by means of an enexpensive teaching device and to mend the flaw by the flaw mending device. ;CONSTITUTION: A teaching device is provided with a freely feedable wire 4, which is connected to a freely movable indicating rod 5. A length measuring device 7 detecting a fed length of the wire 4 and an angle detector detecting a pivoting angle of the wire 4 are provided. The teaching device 3 is installed in a flaw mending device 1. When the freely movable indicating rod 5 connected to the wire 4 is moved to a flaw position, an operation for a flaw mending area is carried out on the basis of the pivoting angle and the feeding length of the wire 4, so that the flaw mending area is displayed in the flaw mending device 1. When the indicating rod 5 is moved to a diagonal position in the flaw mending area, an operation for each coordinates of the diagonal position is carried out on the basis of the pivoting angle and the feeding length of the wire 4 and an operation for the flaw mending area is carried out on the basis of the coordinates data of the diagonal position, so that the flaw mending area is displayed in the flaw mending device 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
