PURPOSE: To provide the parts library data retrieving method and the automatic parts table issuing method, by which a retrieval time of parts library data in the printed circuit board CAD system is shortened and a level of the retrieval work contents is improved, and also, report file outputted as a result of retrieval can be utilized as a parts table. ;CONSTITUTION: In addition to a data base in which parts library data is stored, plural parts names whose retrieval is desired are described precedently in a data base for retrieval, and subsequently, by setting its parts name as a retrieval key, an access is executed directly to the parts library data base, necessary data is extracted to the data base for retrieval, and next, an informix table for a work is generated automatically in the data base for retrieval, and next, ASCII data is inputted automatically to the informix table for a work, information for matching a retrieval condition is inputted to data output table, and by utilizing an ACE function of the informix, an already registered parts table and an unregistered parts table are generated, and each parts table is outputted to a printer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
