PURPOSE: To improve passenger comfortableness as well as the stable travel of a train and realize the high speed operation of the train by removing the right and left motion and up and down motion of a truck caused by the meandering motion of wheel shafts at the time of travel, and accompanying car body rolling and pitching which become hindrance especially against the stable travel of a rolling stock. ;CONSTITUTION: In the case of the wheel shaft structure of the truck of a rolling stock, right and left car wheels are made to be able to be rotated separately by not fixing at a car shaft both right and left or one side of the right and left car wheels of the wheel shaft or by fitting to the separate car shafts respectively the right and left car wheels. Moreover, as for the structure of a car wheel, the incline of the tread 5 of a car wheel is removed, and the diameters of the respective parts of the car wheel tread 5 excepting a flange 6 are made the same ones. Also, as for a car wheel drive system, right and left car wheels are arranged to be driven by means of drive devices such as separate motors.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
