PURPOSE: To allow the use of different type recording-paper in a thermal multidot recorder. ;CONSTITUTION: This recorder is comprised of: a printing detection part 1 which detects a mark or gradation on recording paper; a CPU 14 which inputs a detection signal which is output from the printing detection part 1, and judges the recording of the gradation based on a specified program; and a gradation control part 9 which outputs a gradation recording or stop signal according to the judgement result of the CPU 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
