PURPOSE:To suck and hold a green sheet positively while preventing the damage of the edge of a cutter by installing the cutter to a sucking-chucking section vertically movably while downward elastic force is energized to said cutter. CONSTITUTION:When a cutting sucking device is lowered from the upper section of a carrier belt 8, the nose of a cutter 17 is abutted against a green sheet 2 placed onto said belt 8, and the green sheet 2 is cut to a specified shape. The elastic force of springs 21 absorbs reaction received from the carrier belt 8 at that time, and only a chuck section 12 is pushed down against elastic force. Consequently, the sucking surface 14 of the sucking chuck section 12 is brought into contact approximately with the green sheet 2 cut off by the cutter 17. The sucking chuck section 12 is brought to negative pressure, thus sucking and holding the cut-off green sheet 2 to the sucking surface 14. Accordingly, the green sheet can be cut and sucked positively, thus allowing the execution of a smooth process and the improvement of the quality of a product.
