PRODUCTION OF NEW NYLON HAVING GAS-BARRIERNESS

摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain a new nylon 6 film having further improved gas-barrierness without lowering the mechanical properties by adding small amounts of acetic acid, acetic anhydride and an acetic acid derivative to a nylon 6 film. ;CONSTITUTION: Small amounts of acetic acid, acetic anhydride and an acetic acid derivative are added to a nylon 6 film having high strength and elastic modulus and excellent gas-barrierness, thermal stability, moldability, chemical resistance and oil resistance. For example, a solution produced by dissolving 0.2g of sodium acetate in 20ml of acetic acid is uniformly applied to a biaxially oriented nylon 6 film and dried at 120°C for 3hr.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
