PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject vessel having controlled copolymerization ratio and exhibiting excellent heat-resistance and impact resistance by mixing a polyethylene terephthalate (abbreviated as PET) and a specific polyester under specific condition in molten state. ;SOLUTION: This vessel is made of a molten mixture (having a copolymer chain index R of 5-500) of (A) 50-95 wt.% of a PET having an intrinsic viscosity of ≥0.65 and (B) 50-5 wt.% of a polyester having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.6-1.0. The component B is composed of an acid component composed mainly of isophthalic acid and terephthalic acid and containing 20-100 mol.% of isophthalic acid and a glycol component consisting of or composed mainly of ethylene glycol. The vessel can be produced by melting and mixing the mixture of the components A and B under a condition satisfying the formulas 260≤t≤300, 0.5≤θ≤10 and 1.5≤tθ/i≤30 ((t) is melt-mixing temperature (°C); 6 is retention time in molten state (min); (i) is mol.% of isophthalic acid in the acid component of the component B) and molding the molten mixture.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
