PRIORITY/NONPRIORITY SETTING METHOD FOR BIDIRECTIONAL TRUNK

PURPOSE: To evade collision by optionally setting priority/nonpriority for respec tive bidirectional trunks and changing the bidirectional trunk to nonpriority when the bidirectional trunk set as priority is used for incoming connection. ;CONSTITUTION: 16 bidirectional lines 2 are set between an A station switchboard and a B station switchboard, the bidirectional trunks 1a and 1b are connected to both ends and the data of the trunks 1a connected to the lines 2 are set inside a file memory FM4a as mentioned below. The station data of the trunks 1a of 16 lines are set at a table first and then, the priority/nonpriority of the respective trunks are set at a bit map. Then, set priority forms are stored in codes determined beforehand. When the bidirectional trunk set at the nonpriority is used for the outgoing connection of the present switchboard, the setting of the bidirectional trunk is changed to the priority and when the bidirectional trunk set at the priority is used for the incoming connection from the opposite switchboard, the setting of the bidirectional trunk is changed to the nonpriority.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
