ERECTION ENGINEERING METHOD FOR STEEL BRIDGE UPPER AND AND LOWER PART STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: To provide an erection engineering method for economical steel bridge upper and lower part structures adopting a module system advantageous in view of short-term erection of the proper bridge which is favorable for long time use and early service. ;CONSTITUTION: A bridge upper part structure as a permanent structure is divided into modules 1, moved to a designated position in a site by a moving device 2 also serving as a temporary support, connected to each other into one body by a temporary connecting device 3 and then the road surface is served as a temporary bridge. After that, separately the bridge upper part structure 4 is permanently connected by a permanent adding member, and a bridge pier 5 as a permanent support is replaced with the temporary support.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
