PURPOSE: To easily obtain established lymphocyte at a low cost. ;CONSTITUTION: A new established lymphocyte having the following properties and a process for the establishment of the lymphocyte by introducing the whole genes of SV40 virus into peripheral lymphocyte of mammals by electroporation. (1) Spherical cell of 8-12μm diameter, (2) containing a large-sized nucleus, (3) containing little cytoplasm, (4) having antigen as lymphocyte, (5) unable to be cultured by limiting dilution culture, (6) unable to be cloned, (7) able to be subcultured for ≥1 year, (8) free from generation of virus and (9) containing diploid chromosome.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
