CONTAINER FOR STORING LIVE SQUID AND METHOD FOR STORING SQUID IN LIVING STATE

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject container having simple structure and enabling the storage of squids in living state by partitioning a live squid holding chamber with a water-passing partition plate to form nearly triangular spaces and placing a horizontal air-diffuser outside of the live squid holding chamber. ;CONSTITUTION: A live squid holding chamber 2 is partitioned with water-passing partition plates 3, 4 to form nearly triangular spaces, a horizontal air-diffuser 5 is placed outside of the live squid holding chamber and air is introduced into seawater. The weakening of squid is prevented, a sufficient amount of oxygen is supplied and the contamination of the water is prevented by this structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
