ABNORMALITY MONITORING SYSTEM FOR CATV NETWORK

PURPOSE: To provide the abnormality monitoring system for a CATV network in which the matching performance between a center installation equipment and a transmission line equipment is easily adjusted even when the CATV network is extended/revised. ;CONSTITUTION: The center installation equipment is provided with a supervisory object equipment data file storage means 7 and a basic attribute information data file storage means 8, a supervisory processing means 1 retrieves the relating information of the transmission line equipment from the storage means to discriminate the presence of fault occurrence by collating reply data sent from the transmission line equipment with the relating information. Furthermore, the supervisory object equipment data file storage means 7 stores criterion data to discriminate the presence of a fault based on the reply data sent from various transmission line equipments.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
