PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device that is installed in an industrial facility or device, a plant, a space in which an industrial facility or device is installed, a space in which fuels and various materials are stored, or a space in which workers work, and monitors a state, in which an industrial facility or device is operated, by measuring multiple kinds of gases contained in the air in these spaces, and prevents the occurrence of a disaster such as a breakdown, an accident, fire and so on before it occurs.;SOLUTION: The monitoring device is installed in an industrial facility or device, a plant, a space in which an industrial facility or device is installed, a space in which fuels or various materials are stored, or a space in which workers work, and is used. In addition, an air-introducing hole is provided on the one side of the main body of the monitoring device, and an air-exhausting hole is provided on the other side of the main body. The monitoring device is provided with; a monitoring element detecting-and-measuring part which detects and measures, as a monitoring element, a temperature of air, humidity, concentrations of various kinds of molecules contained in the air, multiple kinds of gases such as inflammable gases, organic gases, odorous gases and so on; and an abnormality determination part which determines the results of the measurement of the monitoring element, which is detected by the monitoring element detecting-and-measuring part, based on a preliminarily specified diagnosis determination standard and raises the alarm which conforms to the results of the determination.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
